Skytap is adjusting this planned maintenance. It will occour on the same date as indicated in the previous notification, but the order of events has been changed. This notice reflects those changes.

Skytap will be performing maintenance in the US-Virginia-M-1 region on:
March 2 2025, 12:00 AM Virginia time (March 2 2025 05:00 UTC)

The maintenance duration is expected to be up to 7 hours.

During this maintenance window:

12:00 AM Virginia time: All LPARs and VMs in the region will be locked. A subset of VMs/LPARs in the region will be shutdown. If your account is affected by this shutdown, you will have received a separate notification. Effects of locking include:
• VMs and LPARs are unable to change state (ie, cannot be suspended, resumed, shutdown, or powered off)
• Environments are unable to be copied

12:30 AM to 1:55 AM Virginia time: During this period LPARs and VMs in the region may experience short disruptions to various networking services in the region.

2:30 AM Virginia time: The specific environments listed below will be shutdown

4:15 AM Virginia time: LPARs and VMs that were shutdown begin to power on; this process may take up to 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete.

6:30 AM Virginia time: All LPARs and VMs in the region will be unlocked. This process may take up to 15 minutes to complete.


Skytap will actively monitor system health and operations during this time and will post any related service impact to the Skytap Health Dashboard at https://status.skytap.com/
