Scheduled
We are performing scheduled maintenance on Power VM hosting in the US-Virginia-M-1 region. This maintenance window is scheduled to run on Friday, June 9, from 16:00 UTC - 23:59 UTC. This maintenance is to apply critical system updates to our Power offering.

This maintenance activity will result in the 2nd half of the running Power-based VMs in the region to experience up to a 90 minute lock in which no run-state operations can be performed. Pinned VMs that are powered off will remain locked and powered off until the 90 minute maintenance for the supporting host has been completed. Once the maintenance is complete, the lock will be removed and any run-state changes for Power-based VMs can be actioned.

There will be no disruption to data plane operations during this maintenance. Remote connectivity and external networking will continue to operate as expected. As this maintenance impacts Power-based VMs only, there will be no disruption to x86-based VMs.
